First Western Bank & Trust will move to a new location in Bismarck.
The bank is in a temporary location at 324 N. Third St. as it awaits construction of a new, four-story building on the former Reza’s Pitch site on Front Avenue.
Market President Chad Johnson said they will break ground on the new building when the ground thaws and they hope to be moved into the space by spring or summer 2018.
First Western leases space in their current building. The new building will significantlyn increase their space for operations, Johnson said, and more staff will be brought into the expanding business.
The new location also will bring the benefit of a drive-thru not available at the Third Street location.
Johnson said they will be leasing out office space in the building’s upper floors.
